Tell your story

Our mission is to challenge the status quo of adulthood, keeping what Carl Jung called “the play instinct” alive for readers, and writers. Whether we’re writing about gardening, a film, or a cultural event, we curate and write every story at The Laffien Times with a playful instinct, sometimes blurring the line between fact and fiction in the same way children do during playtime – not to escape or to lie, but to explore ourselves and to make good stories. We see it as a necessary skill for adults to do the same once in a while, as we believe it’s critical to the continued development of the Self.
